The STEM Project will be guiding nine local authorities and Southern Group Environmental Health Committee through the internationally recognised environmental standard, ISO 14001.

ISO 14001 will provide the nine cross border Council’s with a clear and coherent framework by which they can demonstrate a formal approach to environmental management.  As a key point of contact for their local community, they have recognised the need to lead by example and have all taken up the challenge with great enthusiasm.

 

The combined efforts of the nine Council’s, Southern Group Environmental Health Committee and the local businesses can only have a positive effect on the overall quality of life in the districts.
